Medical Arts History
Medical Arts began in 1930 when Dr. Conrad and his son Leslie Tasche opened an office above Sam's Shoe Store on 8th and Michigan. They were soon joined by Dr. Burnell Eckardt and Dr. Henry Winsauer, eventually forming the Medical Arts Corporation which required extending the office to an adjacent Mobil Oil service station in 1957. Successful Orthopedic, Internal Medicine, Ob/Gyn, Vascular and General Surgery, and Pediatric practices eventually complemented the organization. Continued expansion posed a need for space, and in 1989 the group subsequently moved to our current location at 2920 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan, WI 53081.
